  • In addition, we expect you to spend 2 to 4 hours per meeting on self-study.

Practical

  • The language used during the meetings is Dutch Sign Language. Portraying is also allowed if people do not know how to gesture. If there are times when it is difficult to gesture or represent, then drawing or written Dutch is also a possibility to ask something or make something clear. This is done in order to break through the visual communication as little as possible.
  • The course materials are from the Dutch Sign Language Centre and are included in the course.
  • You will receive a certificate of participation if you have participated in 10 out of the 12 meetings.
  • Do you work at Utrecht University or are you registered at this university as an (exchange) student? Then you will receive a 15% discount on this course! Register with your UU e-mail address and the discount will be processed automatically.
