Brush Up Your English course – package (e-learning)

Learning goals

• By the end of these three modules, you will be able to apply the grammar rules relating to verb tenses, word order, prepositions, adverbs and adjectives, and phrasal verbs more appropriately and consciously.
• In addition, you will have enlarged your vocabulary for daily usage and will have practiced English pronunciation and intonation patterns more thoroughly.

This package includes the following modules:

• Brush up Your English – Vocabulary and common Collocations
• Brush up Your English – Verb tenses
• Brush up Your English – Grammar

Each course covers several modules dealing with different language issues and offering a wide variety of language activities to improve your skills.

Time Investment

• The study load for each module is approximately 10 hours, and you will have access to the course for a period of eight weeks. This enables you to organize your time flexibly.
• The advised self-study load is 2 hours per week for each module.

Practical

• The language of instruction is English.
• You will receive a certificate if you have completed 80% of the material provided for each module.
• If you work or study at Utrecht University you will receive a 15% discount. Please register with your UU email address. Your registration will then be processed automatically.
