About Chinese 4
In this language course, you mainly develop your speaking and listening skills.
- By now, you have developed a reasonable vocabulary and practise using it to formulate fluent sentences.
- You do this based on current topics and practical themes, such as shopping, asking for directions and travelling by public transport.
- The differences between Dutch and Chinese culture are also discussed.
During the meetings and through home study, you will also work on improving your writing skills. You not only practise with traditional Chinese characters, but also with Pinyin, the transcription system for Latin letters. We introduce more grammatical topics of the Chinese language and you learn how to use different sentence patterns correctly.
You can start this course if you have completed course Chinese level 3 at Babel or are at level A1+ through another route.
